A Fiber Holiday/BOND USM

Hello boys,

In the spirit of simplifying and enjoying the fabulous natural generosity of the universe, I am dedicating these next couple of weeks to pulling out my stash, knitting up projects that are almost but not quite completed, spinning up roving that I found in the attic (oops - how long have I actually had that luxurious blue wool???) and once again, setting up the Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine that the Best Beloved gave me a couple of years ago and has lived under the bed almost ever since.

Are there guys on here that have one, that know how to use one, that could be a sympathetic ear to me when I can't get the carriage to move across smoothly, when I discover that I dropped a stitch ten rows back? I have the video that came with it, and will be starting basically from scratch, though I have almost sort of figured out how to use it once before. It would be great to know who to contact if and when I run into problems.

Headed to the studio to trim the last batch of pots before Christmas....

I had bought the Incredible

I had bought the Incredible Sweater Machine many years ago. I knitted myself a rainbow stocking cap, and the practice baby bunting pattern that was included in the instructions. I then did their basic sweater pattern, but I added the Leather Pride Flag design to the front panel. I have also worked out many intarsia patterns on the machine.

I started on the Incredible

I started on the Incredible Sweater Machine, slowing moving up the chain toward fancier and (sadly, more expensive) knitting machines.

Every knitting machine is the same in one aspect. They all seem to hate us when we get started and it takes some time for them to get to know us before they start cooperating.

You might like to check out some of Bond Video Club videos. There are some introductory videos that can provide a good refresher or otherwise some new tips.

We have one, but we haven't

We have one, but we haven't really used it other than to make swatches.
