OK, I know that I have been a member for a few weeks now, so I thought I should show you the photo I took of my first knitted item. I have made a few more things since this but it was my first. I hope to show another project tomorrow.

I've said it before and I'm

I've said it before and I'm sure I will say it again:

the quality of work done by the "newbie" knitters on this site is daunting. I find their posting in general spur me on as much (or maybe more) then the gorgeous lace pieces, or the marvelous colourwork and cables other long established knitters post.

After all - with first projects being posted such as THESE - why can't I get off my duff and knit something?
