*poking her out head out of her pile of socks*

well, I have been knitting like crazy, sock sock sock. I have finished one pair for my friend in Germany, waiting to see if my pattern worked out right and they fit O.o and I have another friend in Germany who I'm now knitting socks for. Men get jealous so easily OMG. In between I have knitted stuff up for my kids for xmas (when I can find a moment to myself) and of course, thrown in a pair of socks for myself :P
I wish knitting was the only thing keeping me from you guys. (will this year of unholy hell EVER end?) after my last post, I got the flu, and then on the heels of that, pneumonia. Yay me! Finally, I was feeling better, decided to get on the computer and check my emails and such, and WHAM I had the Antivirus XP 2008 Virus, and we tried everything to get rid of it, no go, ended up completely wiping the hard drive, everything gone (sad face) thank god for the wayback machine because some of the sites I got patterns from long ago are no longer there and I was able to find them again (I think this is a fluke, it doesn't fit in with the rest of my year)
But.......I"m still plugging away, I refuse to give into the evil forces who are gathering to make my life difficult (I'm convinced these are the same forces who are constantly trying to make me have that Jaclyn Smith cowlick)

Welcome to all the new people! leaps and bounds they flock here.

Love you guys!

Jaclyn Smith has a COWLICK??

Jaclyn Smith has a COWLICK?? (Or are you just blasphemin', Woman??) To a devoted watcher of "Shear Genius" on Bravo TV where the onetime Charlie's Angel hosts the "reality" show competition between hair stylists... Jaclyn with a COWLICK is a pretty disturbing image!

Did you see my previous image of my attempt at socks?? I did finally get around to doing them and the result is comic... literally... think CLOWN!!!

Elizabeth Zimmermann said to keep knitting through everything and I am sure she was right. Glad to hear that the socks are tumbling off of your needles.
