Knitting as Commodity
One of the other nurses in the ER agreed to cover a shift for me IF I agreed to knit up a cute hat for her daughter.
How could I resist. Look at the eyes on this angel!
I started off doing the Elizabeth Zimmerman Spiral Hat from The Opinionated Knitter... but something went awry once I started the decreases. It's still a cute hat, though.
I knit it using US Size 8 circs and Blackberry Ridge Woolen Mills superwash merino sport weight in the "Blue Violet" colorway.
