Lots of people have been asking how I am, where I am and what I'm up to, so I decided a little update was in order!

I was supposed to have flown back to the US today, but it seems people now suddenly realise I am actually leaving and so now they all of a sudden start doing what I wished they'd have done 3 years ago.

For a while now I've been whoring myself off to pretty much every recording company available, and only now are there 2 companies responding (they're actually fighting over me!)

So Deutsche Gramophone offers me the world, Harmonia Mundi offers the universe and now I am stuck with two companies upstaging each other.

I've decided to stick around for just a few more days, because, if I play my cards right, I could move back to the US and actually get payed nicely for doing what I love!

I will keep you all updated

Wow, both Deutsche Grammophone and Harmonia Mundi?! For some reason though, personally, I would think you would suit Harmonia Mundi better....but it's just my personal hunch.

Wow, both labels are amazing, DG is of course legendary.
What a nice quandry to be in :) I guess you just have to walk away sometimes to actually make things work out.

I know....I have postponed

I know....I have postponed my trip to next Thursday, I'll have a decision ready for them by then, but they are not making it easy for me...Harmonia Mundi is a label I love because they aren't afraid to record the bizarre and unusual stuff, but DG can give me a worldwide career...

I wish I had that problem! Just don't let it drag on too long or both companies might decide it's not worth it! (They'd be wrong, of course, but try telling executives that!)
