Pi Shawl by me

Early last month I received my b-day present, knitpicks Options Interchangeable Harmony Wood Circular Knitting Needle Set and their lace weight "Gloss Lace" in Aegean (5 hanks) and with these I am working on my pi shawl of my own (design, invention, creation, interpretation,...). As I posted before, this is loosely based on carolknit's Cobweb Pi off of ravelry. So far the only part I copied off of her pattern is the Openwork Diamond (Barbara Walker Treasury - Book 1). After the above pattern I next worked on a variation of the "fish tail" pattern, offsetting one side of the tail by 2 "RS" rows.

The next phase of this project is a "tweaking" of the "fish scale"....

I hope to have this finish before christmas (fingers crossed).

Until next time...

Coming along well. If worse

Coming along well. If worse comes to worse, take pictures and give THOSE w/ a promise of "shawl to come" One of my test knitters just finished the prototype of a new shawl and it took her 8 hours just to do the last (bindoff) row. that's an extreme example, but hey, these things take time!
