Finally, I wanted to post my Tri-Colored Flecked Tweed Hat. I am soooooo pleased with this. It's soft, feels great to wear, and the pattern came out beautifully in the colors I chose. Jason said he wanted it just above the ears, and so I thought a little rolled edge would be kind of fun and stylish. I hate knitting with acrylic because of that "squeaky" feeling it has on bamboo needles, but this was well worth it. It was super easy, too. I used one of the sitches from my Harmony book. It was a bit awkward because I had to reverse the instructions for all the wrong-side rows since I knitted in the round. But damn...I am thinking of knitting one for myself. I like my hats to be deeper, so I would probably extend the edge down.
The attached image is a close-up of the stitches.

Absolutely fabulous - where
Absolutely fabulous - where is the pattern from?
It's an original pattern.
It's an original pattern. Really, I just cast on an appropriate number of stitches for a hat and knitted rounds using the "three-color flecked tweed" stitch from my Harmony book of stitches. Then, near the top, I tapered off. I did not do a ribbed edge, so that's why it kind of rolls up.
