I got back into knitting because I spotted a Men's Knitting Group at the LYS. Sadly they stopped it... not sure exactly why... before I got a chance to attend.

The all-women version is really not what I was after.

I wonder if any of you Brits in here had heard or/ attended / could recommend any of these knitting groups all of which are within reasonable distance of my home or office. I'm specially interested in the Queer Stitch&Bitch at the Curzon, Soho so if you've been to that I'd like to know more:

KNITFLICKS: Saturday mornings at the Ritzy Cinema, Brixton

KNITTING IN LEWISHAM: each Monday at the Fox & Firkin, SE13

QUEER STITCH 'N' BITCH: 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month in the Mezzanine Bar at Curzon Soho cinema

SE1 STITCH 'N BITCH: regular meetings in the pubs of Southwark and SE1.

SOUTH LONDON KNITTERS: 1st Tuesday and 4th Wednesday each month at the Bread & Roses pub
