I can do magic 8 cast on...Toe up socks here i come!!!!!
so many patterns out there for toe ups and now I can finally make them...

Too bad you just joined the lace yarn club, there are several sock yarn clubs out there. You are doomed! You also might want to check out Judy's Magic Cast-on . It is similar to the magic 8 cast on only better as it doesn't leave the loose stitches that magic 8 can leave.
