I've never been a fan of these patterns (I'm not sure what it's called), but you have shown me what the pattern can be! I've always seen it done with solid colors. I really really really like the scarf. Nice job!!

It's somewhat difficult to see as it's so dark, but I downloaded it and lightened it up to see it better. I think you did a wonderful job, I don't blame your friend for wanting it.
