Hello Again Everyone,
I just got more GREAT news from Point Bonita. The other group has confirmed for November 7-9 which means the Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat group can piggy-back without needing the 20 person minimum. This really simplifies things because 90% of you have stated that 11/7 is your preferred date, so it looks like this is our date.
14 attendees – Michael W, Stephen H, David H, Brian K, Kyle K, Doug M, Ivar A, Steve L, Chuck W, Joe Z, Darrel F, Andy N, Stan S and Krystopher.
5 maybes (so far) - Michael C, Michael J, Will, Aaron and Ted M
And here’s the cost breakdown:
$148 per person – Point Bonita
$8.50 per person – Environmental Education fee (based on $75 total)
$10 per person – MFKR Administrative Fees (helps us with printing, gas, time spent online, etc.)
$10 per person - Men’s Knitting Retreat fee (this will help us setup MKR website and other costs)
$3.50 per person - PayPal fees
$180.00 - Total Weekend Cost Per Person (does not include the cost of airfare if you’re flying)
(NOTE: I’ve taken out the cost of transport to and from the airport b/c it was confusing and sounded like we were coordinating it, BUT don’t forget to budget in for the cost of a cab/shuttle/carpool if you’re flying in)

Hey Mike:
I would not mind going to visit one day or two , just maybe staying one night and share with you guys , since I live in the Bay Area, can we still participate? I can bring a Chocolate cake you know! How much money should we contribute ? How much money to just Attend maybe have lunch et cetera?

Even though it's a bit - a tiny little bit - far from Sweden I'm almost certain I'll be there! If anyone's interested in Scandinavian "twined knitting" I could show how it's done.
Addition: "almost certain"
Addition: "almost certain" means "unless I break both legs" or something equally silly. Of course I'll be there!
That is *such* great news,

That's excellent news Mike.
That's excellent news Mike. If the West coast one fills up as fast as the East coast version, you may have to kick out the other group with whom you're piggybacking...lol.
Best of luck on MFKR (still LOVE that acronym).
