Hey all-
My scarf is done, and ready to go,
but I'm having a hard time with the goodies to go along...
any suggestions? Maybe we could start a running list here that will get ideas flowing for others.....?
From other exchanges that I have seen:
A skein of sock yarn
Stitch markers
Something personal that you got from the persons profile or postings.
Candy
Teas/Coffees
Books
I designed the scarf that I am sending along. It is not the fanciest of designs, but there is a little bit of a visual story behind it. I am sending the pictures that accompany the story, an explanation of the design, a skein of the yarn I used to make the scarf, and a hat (or the beginnings of a hat on stitch holders if I am not done with it) to match the scarf.
I am a bit of an overachiever, though. Does that sound OK? Too much?
yes, please please PLEASE start a suggestion list. I am freaking out about the scarf exchange. I've been knitting for hours, and have nothing to show for it. You see, I want to find the perfect scarf pattern (no pressure, right!) and so I've been knitting swatch after swatch and ripping them back out. Luckily, I've found THE pattern, and now I just get to execute. Needless to say, I haven't even thought about sending something extra yet! And here I am, not knitting and hijacking your blog. My apologies! Oh, and congratulations on the early finish!

Go for the outrageous -
Go for the outrageous - enclose a mango seeder; or some other esoteric kitchen utensil.
Or a printout of "ten patterns I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole"
