Here's another item I just finished... What a beautiful story Kirsten tells about her father - check out the pattern link, donate to help Alzheimer’s and Dementia research along a bit, and she’ll send the pattern to you as well! I bought lots of the yarn on sale at elann.com - I am sure I have too much… but better too much than not enough… (it’s from my stash!)

It was wonderful to knit... and my first cable project...

it's some tweedy wool yarn from elann.com - it was really inexpensive - I believe under $3 a ball...

I haven't blocked it yet (believe it or not) - :) - and it was really easy - (it's my first "finished" cabled thing) so that says something about how easy it is...

buy the pattern and have it in your library - it's EASY to follow and the money goes to a great cause!
