This is a picture of an Emu Egg. The colors are almost identical to the hand painted yarn I am using to make a scarf for my spoilee, hope he likes it.

I really hadn't realized the colors were so close until this morning when I was checking out the yarn in the sunlight in the kitchen. The egg is in a basket on the kitchen counter.
