In a fit of excitement, I installed a lightbox module to view images on the site. The best place to check it out is, of course, the image galleries.
Once you're inside one of the galleries, simply click an image and all images on that page will display in a nifty lightbox. What if you don't want to see the image in a lightbox? Just click the title of the image rather than the thumbnail and you'll be taken to the standard image view page.
1. Safari support seems hit or miss depending on version. On my computer, I have 3.1.2 and it doesn't work. On my friend's, he's got 3.0.2 and it works just fine. I've also tested it out in IE6, IE7, FF2, and FF3 and those all seem to be good.
2. It doesn't display all images in a gallery, only the ones on a particular page. You'll have to navigate to subsequent pages within a particular gallery section to view those. I've increased the number of images that display on a given gallery page, though, to give you guys more eye candy!
That's it! Let me know what you think!
