My So Called Scarf Snafu

I decided to make the "My So Called Scarf" and wanted to knit a swatch to make sure I had the stitches correct. When I finished I thought, gee, I could just fold this over and sew it up and it would be a nice glasses holder for my mom. The result looks more like a Man Cozy - if you get my drift. Not sending that one to mom.
