Wedding Veil for one of my best friends

I am making a wedding veil for one my best friends....... She will be getting married in March of next year......... so i decided my gift to her will be her wedding veil....... here is the pattern for the veil. it is really a doily pattern.......http://yarnover.net/patterns/doilies/kunststrik/alita........ I'm making it out of regular sewing thread 6 spools of at one time and using size 3 needles

I'm sure it will be beautiful. Can't wait to see it completed and modeled. Did I understand correctly that you're carrying six strands of sewing thread at one time while you knit the veil?
