End of May Already?

Yikes! I can't believe how quickly this month has gone. I had great plans to have 2 pairs of socks completed by the middle of June---Uh Oh! I'm only closing in on completing the first pair. Looks like I'm going to be late giving Ben his socks for his Birthday or get my butt moving.....And then last night I realized we (partner Bob & I) are hosting a Birthday party at our summer camp and we invited another friend who is also having a Birthday in June and I hadn't planned on knitting socks for him. Well, you get point, now I'm down 2 pairs plus. Crap.

On a positive note, we took our first stab at planting a vegetable garden this year...Well, really just a couple rows of watermelon and cantaloupe really. Next year we will break out the rotor-tiller and really do it up with a full bounty: Tomatoes, Onions, Garlic, etc….

Tuesday morning e-mail hell at work...Had better get busy.

I know the "rushed" feeling.

I know the "rushed" feeling. I am doing an afghan for a fund raising auction, in Nov. That sounds like it is a long way off but I had it nearly finished and hated it, so tore it apart. I then rewrote the design to what I wanted and am now about 1/3 finished. I think I should make the deadline. The problem is they need a picture of it a month or so before the auction to put in the brochure.

We (my partner David & I) usually have a garden. He has been too busy to deal with it this year and I don't do veggies, only flowers. He did roto-till the area and I am going to plant a cutting garden, so I can have bouquets in the house. We can always go to the local tail gate market for veggies...lol.

Have a great day.
