Yarn: Wollmeise 100% superwash merino Sockenwolle in "Koralle im Meer" (light)
Needles: Addi Lace, 3.5 mm / 80 cm
Pattern: Mystic Light Shawl by Anna Dalvi (aka Knit & Knag)

So, at last I got around to taking some photos of my finished Mystic Light. I have to admit that the colourway takes a lot away from the pattern itself….but thank goodness for good photography, you can see the lace pattern well enough. :-p

I might knit this shawl again in a more solid colourway. I’ll see.

What a great looking shawl. I agree with the comments - it does look as if it is flying around. You are quite the artist in the knitting community. And eleven days. Wow. Definitely be interested in how it would look in a one color variation.

Absolutely beautiful!

It reminds me of a butterfly with its wings spread so the world can take its beauty!

The pattern is really nice, I like the shape of the shawl, and I really can't take my eyes off of how you photographed it. You can see just a touch of the colours as well as the lace pattern, itself. Perfect composition.

BEAUTIFUL! How in the world

BEAUTIFUL! How in the world can anyone knit something so large in so short a time period? What size needles did you use?
I agree with everyone's comments about the colourways...but spectacular, nonetheless.

LOL, I surprised myself,

LOL, I surprised myself, too. But it was pretty much the only thing I was knitting. I started the shawl at the same time with beginning of the KAL but wasn't satisfied with it and frogged it. Then I had to wait for new yarns and then I was 3 clues behind from the KAL. That spurred me on to knit madly and catch up with them.

Thanks! Yes, it was definitely fun to knit. I don't like it when there are too many repeats in the pattern, because I loose my interest really easily...so this kind of thing is really perfect.

Hahaha, I had to laugh when you talk about the flying. A friend of mine reckons that the colourway just reminds her of Superman...and so this is kind of a Superman Shawl.

The colourway both detracts

The colourway both detracts and enhances the design. Look at wone way and you see the colours, look at it another and bits of the lace design pop at you. I think it's a very successful shawl.
