Blocking
How long does blocking last? Does lace need to be reblocked occasionally? The only thing I have ever blocked was a stockinette stitch scarf I made on the knitting machine. It curled up the second or third time I used it. I still need to block my Cobblestone I finished back in February.

How long before re-blocking depends on a number of things - including, but not limited to...
fiber content
weight of yarn
pattern
use
temperature
humidity
the last is a really big factor.

Depends really on how much
Depends really on how much you use it...
once it stops holding its shape means its time to reblock...but if you are going to wash it alot you need to reblock after every wash since the water has hit it again
