OT: For Those So Inclined

My mother is going in for throat cancer surgery on Friday. For those so inclined please say a prayer, send positive energy, or have some positive thoughts, depending on one's personal beliefs, for her.

This is her third go around with cancer. I've been trying hard to get a load that will get me home in time for the surgery but Murphy's Law has been in full force and I'm not going to make it in time. I'm pretty bummed about that.

I spoke with the nurse in

I spoke with the nurse in the recovery room this afternoon. My mother made it through the surgery ok.

What a huge relief off my mind. I appreciate all of the prayers and positive thoughts.

Knowing you're on your way

Knowing you're on your way to see her, will mean a lot to her. Mothers are amazing in their strength to wait for their children. I saw that in both my mother and in my partner's mother when they were in the hospital. You're a good son, your mother knows that.
