Yes, dear men, it's May! Spring has sprung! Time to start working on Christmas!
One of my favourite parts of the season is creating and giving people stockings... Yet, I've never found a pattern that I'm totally happy with. It seems that it's either a grossly oversized sock pattern (which doesn't hang vertically worth a dang) or a over-simplified shape that doesn't look like much of anything. Has anyone found one that you really like that finds a happy medium? I'd be most appreciative.... Also, other than Red Heart (ich) a good worsted weight that has lots of bright colours, yet not terribly expensive ($8.95 for 25 stitches kills me, I'm a teacher, have no income!) As always, thanks for all of your BRILLIANT advice!
