i messed around with a loose fitting cable lace pattern from an old filatura di crossa book. i made it cap sleeved and boat neck. it's a white white cotton blend, a gift for a friend who is letting me stay at her house in cabo over memorial day
That is really beautiful, so much gorgeous texture too. I think your friend is in danger of people randomly petting her whilst wearing this.
What a beautiful thing you've made. I hope the recipient will model it for another picture.
'Squisita! I'm intrigued by texture lately- this one is real eye candy.
amazing! I can only dream of knitting this well.
Everything about it is beautiful. Great work.
thank you all for the compliments. it's such a nice shot in the arm.
What a lucky friend. This is a very pretty sweater.
Wow! Great stuff! Just make sure to only let Bob look at it from a distance. That envy puke is tough to wash out.
"A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn." Blackadder
How can you not love Blackadder.
Wow, really beautiful job. I admire you guys who can do lace! A marvelous hostess gift. Thanks for sharing.
That is one of those sweaters that make other knitters puke with envy... Seriously... it's digustingly gorgeous.
i'll take the compliment, unless it comes with the puke. not good on white. thanks
It looks like a flock of doves (or seagulls) flying across.
