WIPS and more WIPS

ksmarguy's picture

OK, so since I have not actually finished much in the past few months since I have started knitting, I thought that I would at least put up some of my WIPS. I have too many :)

The pictured one is My So Called Scarf in Manos in the Olivewood...I love this pattern, just started it the other night and have made it my morning coffee project. I tried attaching the rest of the pics, but you will have to go to my Rav page or my blog to see them cause I think the attachments are too big.

Anyway, hopefully one of these days someone here will say "Hey, What the Hell are you doing??? FINISH SOMETHING ALREADY!!!"

It just goes to show how much you all inspire me that I start so many things.

Oh heck, you don't have

Oh heck, you don't have *all* that many WIP's! You could institute the "two row" rule a friend of mine reccomends - you can't work on the project that is crying out to you the most until you have worked two rows on each other project. Then you can have ONE session with the pet project; repeat as necessary.

it does work - but it's a b*gger when several of the stalled projects are circular shawls with a thousand or more stitches per row!

I'd love to have the pattern

I'd love to have the pattern as well. That stitch really shows off the yarn beautifully. I have a whole bunch of handspun and hand dyed yarn that would be perfect for this rather than get muddled up with some other kind of stitch.

definitely use the link I

definitely use the link I listed below, I bought the Manos and was not sure if I wanted to do this scarf or something else and I looked and looked at other patterns and finally decided that I would do this one. I can't believe how beautiful it is... especially the way it shows off the variegated colors so well. And do a search on here for it, this is the site that I learned about it from, so many of the guys on here have done this scarf.

I found that on row one that it is easier to slip 1, K1, YO then PSSO. I saw the video that demonstrated the pattern technique and this alternate and doing it this alternate way was was just a little easier for me.

It really knits beautifully and it almost seems like the Manos del Uruguay was made for this pattern.
