I'm going to explore some
I'm going to explore some vegetable fiber yarns...Portland is really hot for soy, seaweed, hemp, cotton, bamboo fibers right now. I'm still big on linen...I think I may try to machine knit up some linen jersey and do some garments on the sewing machine...I've always wanted some linen jersey...or maybe linen and merino for those summer nights when (said in the voice of the indomitable LENA HORNE) "it gitts dahnright cheelli!" (She used to be on a radio ad for the wool council, and I loved that ad). Linen, bamboo, cotton, hemp, soy and seaweed... That's what I'm doing. maybe a polo shirt?

Tourist season is a'comin...need things for booths and tables...'love them folks from away...
...and fair season is only 6 months away...

I'm going to do more
I'm going to do more non-clothing items this spring/summer. I'm working on a dog bed for my fluppy (floppy puppy). After that I'm going to try my hand at a couple of fun stuffed animal patterns...I'm a glutton for punishment. I also want to make some more utility cloths because they're a really great way to test out a new stitch pattern and when you're done, it doesn't matter whether you like it or not because you'll just be wiping up messes with it anyway.
You might look at some very open-knit shawls that women/girls could wear in the evenings when they go out. Stylish, but not heavy or too insulating for the time of year.
Then there's just making random stuff that you want to make regardless of whether it's seasonable or not.

I saw a pattern for a
I saw a pattern for a fishnet-style tank top. I fear I would look less like a muscle daddy and more like an escapee from a fishing vessel if I were to dare wearing such a thing. I suppose housewares would be appropriate and maybe vests in cool yarns, (silk or cotton blends). There are piles of Spring/Summer things for the women in you life (or you could start doing drag). Personally I think I'm going to try and use the warm weather to get a jump start on some Christmas presents.

Home accessories like felted bowls, dish clothes ( boring but hones your skills and keeps those adventuresome fingers busy). I have friends that live in San Francisco so I can always knit scarfs for August and send gifts.

Also socks are great for the warm weather. i never wear cotton anymore so those knitted from wool and nylon are great.

Time to think about producing stuff in glorious cotton - especially an eco-cotton. How about Organic Cotton Naturally Dyed or something like this one, from Angel Yarns, here in the UK? As for what to make, how about a cool men's top, maybe with short sleeves and a v-neck, to wear late evening?
