Aluminum DPN = EEEEEEEEVIL

So, I thought I would go ahead and try knitting those socks out of my Wool-Ease yarn...HA. I CO'd onto my size 4 dpn's and did k1p1 ribbing for one whole needle before "ding". That ding was, of course, one of the other dpn's bidding adieu to the stitches and making a run for it. Needless to say, I will wait until I get bamboo dpn's to try that nonsense again...

you must have some

you must have some play-dough in the house. a little ball of that on the ends of the needles.....

or a cork, etc. heck, I've seen potatoes used.
