Just off the needles, the Twisted Stitch sock from The Knitting Man(ual) by Kristin Spurkland. The yarn is a superwash sock fine fingering weight with a tight twist from Brooklyn Handspun in a subtle solid, Daily Denim. A delight to knit with. Needles were 2.5mm dpns.

I have to admire you guys who knit socks - my feet destroy socks - so I have a real reluctance to spend the energy knitting something I'll be afraid to wear because it would destroy it!

Beautifully done! Tempts me to do some textural knitting- that pattern would look great on a sweater.
I love that sock pattern.
I love that sock pattern. The Knitting Man(ual)
has some good patterns, but this has been my favorite so far.
I did a version of those socks in a Trekking tweedy yarn and they came out great. I'll try to post a picture, but my luck with that feature hasn't always been that good.
I would warn folks that knit tightly that the twisted stitch could create a tighter gauge fabric than Kristin calls for, but Kerry didn't seem to have that problem.
