Yay! I recognize this!!! (Check my blog from a few posts ago.) Looks great! Is that yarn grey, or is it just the lighting? I see you told someone it is "moss." I kind of like the grey look. ;-) You, too, can attest that blocking this scarf makes a WORLD of difference. Great job!
I, like Joe, am becoming entralled with knitted lace. Your work is wonderful and choice of colour as well. Do you have other lace projects you want to do? Congratulations on a lovely piece of work.

sorry. i have not gotten used to keeping track of and reporting the details in the blog. i get so excited about finishing and posting.
here's the info:
i got free pattern from http://brookenelson.com/leafscartpattern.html.
i'm using a softwist bulky yarn from berroco, 41% wool, 59% rayon (a little shiny) moss colore
size 9 needles
2 skeins 100g, 136 yds
This looks beautiful. I agree with the previous posts about the lovely definition of the pattern as well as your color choice. It's superb. How did you like knitting this pattern? I was considering doing this for a friend who had her eye on the Liesel scarf while I was knitting it.

once i got the hang of it, i liked it. that was about halfway through. i thought i would need to follow the pattern, but eventually i had it memorized and just clicked off the inches. i found i could not have deep conversation doing it (or drink)
I found some of the same things knitting lace, especially the conversation part. The most I could muster was "uh-huh" but I progressed, by 3/4 of the way through I could manage to knit and say "wait until I'm done with this row" at the same time.
