The Bowl - Felted

So, here's the finished product! I ended up running it through four times I think and I'm pretty happy with it. And, it just so happens that I had the perfect vase to help shape the bowl. The attached photos show the underside of the bowl and the bowl drying on the vase.

I love it. I'm sure this

I love it. I'm sure this will be quite an interesting piece for the 100 Bowls of Compassion event as I'm sure many people would have never imagined a knitted bowl. I remember when I first became interested in knitting, I was very suprised by the versatility of felted items.

HEY IRISES! would love some, the ones I had in the yard are like a hundred years old and won't flower anymore, even with dividing. perhaps we should do a plant exchange....I have several things that I will be dividing this year and some that I just want to get rid of but don't just want to throw on the compost heap...perhaps we will need a new thread for this.

Sure!! We were just talking about how we should've planted some things last fall. We don't know what to do with our back yard. The front yard is xeriscaped and we wanted to do the same to back yard because the grass is just too much to water. Still not sure what to do...
