Here are my new pals. I just brought them home from the shelter today, and they are busily exploring their new home. They are a ten year old pair of cats who originally came to the shelter as strays, were adoped out and then returned because they were "too old". They are a couple of sweeties; we will all be very happy together. As to my concern about them wanting to "help" me with my knitting, no problem- it turns out they are both crocheters.

We just lost a cat last
We just lost a cat last month who was 20 years old. So those two could only be middle-aged, and we all know THAT's not old at all! Good for you for adopting adult cats. There are so many out there. We have begun looking ourselves for another one. Congrats!

Ten is only middle aged for a cat, who in their right mind would consider that too old.

It's very kind of you to give a home to a pair of older cats...I guess they've been through a lot...
...and they are just the kind of stability YOU need...

That's impressive that you
That's impressive that you were able to get a good picture of both of them...I have trouble getting a decent picture of my one cat.
The kids are lovely...makes me want to be home playing with mine.
I'm sure it didn't take long
I'm sure it didn't take long for them to establish the pecking order. and I'm betting you're the low man on the totem pole :)

They are beautiful!!! I hope that they give you lots of love.
I hope you don't have to get a second job to support them. It can be be expensive enough to support one yarn habit, let alone three!
I hope you all settle in quickly
