The Best of Vogue Knitting: 25 Years of Articles, Techniques and Expert Advice; 2007; hard cover; oversize; 244 pages.
I’d heard positive reviews about this book on some knitting podcasts and I decided to take a chance and purchase it. Maybe my expectations were set too high but I was terribly disappointed with the book. The kindest words I have for this book would be to describe it as knitting pabulum. I don’t read knitting magazines; perhaps if I did I would have known in advance what kind of book this would be. My recommendation is to save your money and spend it on a good knitting book instead. This one has very little to offer and has little value. I was especially put-off by the chapter on men knitters; as a knitting 'mo I found it particularly insulting.
There may be those who really find this book worthwhile but, sorry, I’m not one of them.

Agree with you on this book, I didn't buy it just read a few pages from a friend's copy and found it pretty worthless, I didn't even get to the part on men knitting.
