The yarn is a fine lace

The yarn is a fine lace weight (1460 yards per 100 gm) - 100 % wool; knit on US size 6 needles.

Wow, that is beautiful and impressive! I love your color choices.

It's not colourwork! (oh my god - I can't even begin to think how to do that design in colourwork. ) The green is just the background it's on. But the variagated yarn is working out nicely - just subltle little touches....(I was worried it would be too high contrast until I wound the skein into a ball - but really pleased with the way it is knitting up)

d'oh! Now that I look a second time, I can see that. (Still looks wonderful though!)

So far no real design

So far no real design screw-ups;, a slight change at roughly row 70; but, I can't add!!

139 plus 4 = 143!!!!

I got 141; so the row and chart numbers are all messed up.

It's a beautiful shawl, for some reason with a name like Artemis tho I expected the design to be some multiple of 3.

Are you thinking 'Aramis'?;

Are you thinking 'Aramis'?; as in Porthos, Athos and Aramis; whereas Artemis is moon goddess.

Or just triune goddess? (There are several "three"'s in the design, but I'm not telling where.

Great design, Mario.

Great design, Mario. Inspirational! Can't wait to see more.

Mario, it's a fabulous shawl

Mario, it's a fabulous shawl but your speed and complexity are giving me an inferiority complex!

Huh! don't worry about

Huh! don't worry about *that*!

It took me nine days to get to row 83; one of the knitters on MMarioKKnits started it and within 24 hours was at row 79. (At the end of the first 24 hours I think I had finished row 20 )

The thing about circular shawls - they start fast, they grow quickly - up to a point. Though what is done is almost half the ROWS, and likewise almost half the diameter; it is only 25% of the knitting.

and remmeber - I specialize in "looks far more complicated then it actually is"
