It's Official!!
I have knit a sock! woo hoo yay me! I'm sure there's a million mistakes, (I know of at least 2) and it's probably not the world's prettiest sock, but damnit I knit this baby! *does her happy dance all over everyone's blog* attached files are a side view, and close ups of the heel/gusset and toes. And since my daughter refused to model since she was talking on the phone (no surprise there) the sexy foot is mine.
Thanks to all you fantastic guys who gently nudged and occasionally shoved me towards trying again to knit socks, I had a lot of fun and it's mate is already on the sticks. Said it before and I'll say it again, Love you guys you're the awesomest!

After knitting my first pair I am really a sock-addict (yes Holland and sock drugs!!)Now I only want to wear my own knitted socks and so does my husband

and I can see why, I only have one done and only wore it only for a short period of time, but I like it WAY more than the ones I have bought. It fits better, it's warmer. I don't get the heel sitting halfway up my calf. Yeah I'm liking these!

I already ordered needles so I can make some nice winter socks for Andrei and my son. and ordered yarn in a green close to MSU's colors for my #2 Daughter, #1 Daughter gets one purple and one black (Like Dobby she doesn't believe that socks should match, just go well together) #3 Daughter will be getting a pair of ankle socks in grey. life is good.
