I'm trying out a scarf design of my own. I'm sure I'll finish it and a million people will have seen a million patterns just like it, but to me, I made it up. LOL Am using a random skein of yarn I found lying around in my closet. I hope there's enough yarn!!!

Also, my LYS was having a big sale on new Camel yarn fresh from Mongolia. I bought a skein to make a hat with. It looks sooooo luxurious. I spent an ass-load on it, but I've gotta pamper myself sometime, right?

I will be making sample hats beforehand. No way I'm going to fuck this one up and waste all that money. LOL

I think it's Elizabeth Zimmerman that calls your scarf "unventing" or something like that.

Years ago, I came up with the "lifeline" concept, although I dubbed it the safety net. I was so disappointed that I wasn't the first one in the universe to have come up with the idea, but I guess maybe there really isn't anything completely new in knitting.

And yet, still I press on.
