MMMMMMMMMMM....Alpaca

Now that my holiday gift knitting is done I finally have a couple of finished things for me. Yayyy!

The scarf is the diamond stitch pattern from the "Never Knit Your Man A Sweater..." book. I used Aplaca With A Twist - Baby Twist. One 250 gram hank did quite nicely for the whole scarf. I picked up another hank (thanks Mel!!!) in Rhinebeck to eventually make a hat and gloves to go with it.

The gloves are from the little Vogue Knitting "Mittens & Gloves" book. It's become my favorite glove pattern. I do the cables on the back differently every time. I used Berocco - Ultra Alpaca for these. I used the same yarn (in a different color) in a pair that I gave to a friend. It works wonderfully for this pattern. This is the eighth pair of these gloves I've made and the second pair I've made for myself.
