Thank you all for your responses to my flat hat dilemma. I am presently trying to calculate how much duct tape to wrap around my head to keep it from splattering my monitor! Seriously, I will see if I can get this stuff into my math-challenged brain and give it a try. Failing that, I will knit a round hat and sit on it for a few days. :)
