I'm on row 4 of the crown on the Koolhaas hat and it calls for:
1/1 RPC, sl 1, k2tog, psso, 1/1 LPC
I've got the RPC and the LPC.. that's not a problem, but I have two questions:
1) is the k2tog supposed to be tbl?
2) what do I psso? Do I pass the k2tog over the sl1 or ???
Please help!
Thanks!

Just knit two stitches
Just knit two stitches together from the left needle onto the right needles as you would knit one stitch. Then, you pass the slipped stitch over the K2tog so only the K2tog remains on your right needles. Hope that helps.

If you are in Denver, the HobbyLobby near Broadway and Hampden still has copies of the Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts issue which has the pattern in it. The hat is on my to do soon list, I've also just ordered some recent men's patterns books, should be at my office tomorrow

Let me know how it goes and how you like the pattern. It looks like a pretty cool hat. I thought about going out to try to find the pattern to add to my future project list. Hopefully, I'll still be able to find the pattern somewhere. What yarn are you using?

The Koolhaas pattern isn't free you can download the pdf from knitting daily for 4.50. It really is a cool pattern. I'd love to make this hat, but my adventures in knitting in the round haven't been going well. I'm not giving up yet.

Well, it's official, I just finished it.
I'm really happy with it and will be starting another on exactly like the one I just finished in a day or so (the last one was for our babysitter, the next one is for my wife!) I used Nashua Handknits Creative Focus Superwash yarn and knit with DPNs the whole way through.
The pattern is out of the Interweave "Holiday Gifts" edition - I wasn't able to find the pattern anywhere as a stand-alone pattern.
I posted a pictures on my blog here, if you're interested.

Hi Tim,
Whoops... I was going to reply about the 1/1 stuff, but I see you've figured that out. I don't think it would be tbl... I would slip one stitch, knit the next two together as usual, then pass the slipped stitch back over the stitch you just created with the k2tog. You're basically doing a double decrease with this.
Good luck! And Happy New Year!
Frank.

Thanks! I guess maybe it wasn't that hard if I'd just do exactly what it said and not "think" about it. It worked perfectly!
