Karen's socks
Recently finished socks. After I knitted the first, I lost the pattern, and consequently the interest to knit the second. A friend told me to "just work it out", but I ignored her advice for some months before I decided to give it a go. Viola, i think it worked.
The yarn is Trekking XXL Aquarell 159, but my photo doesn't do justice to the lovely soft colours.

I like the combination of the colours and the open work. That doesn't often work but it sure looks great on these socks! Is that a picot top edge?

Very nice- it's well you took your friends advice. Something about socks- frequently one sock of a pair disappears; in this case the pattern disappears after the first sock. Did you check in your washing machine?
