The skullcap beanie was the test piece to work out the pattern for her hat. I just made the body longer so as to be a full sized hat.

By the way, I started to knit your hat pattern using worsted weight yarn and it was huge. So I ripped it out. I can't remember is I used #7 US or #8 US needles. So either I have to cast on way fewer stitches or use much, much smaller needles.
