Very interesting, I hope you post a modeled pic of the finished work. I'm having a hard time envisioning what this would look like when worn. Regardless it's a very cool looking work.
It's from a book by Ruth Lee called fabulous boas and scarves, it really is a great project to do (especially between knitting squares for the afghan) it's on 10mm needles and doesn't have a great deal of stitches, I'm nearly finished it, so will hopefully post a pic when it's done
sweet! I have a bunch of novelty yarns left from my days of scarf knitting, I don't mind knitting scarves, but tired of the basic knit every row in a funky yarn type scarf.
I know what you mean about knitting every row, that's what this scarf is, but it's got cast on and cast off (bind off) every so often, so it makes it a bit more interesting. Strangely after all these years of knitting, this is the first scarf I have ever done!
