YEAH! I made the same bag! I just left off the pockets, 'cause I'm impatient, but it was insanely easy and took no time. (Actually blocked it with a twelve back of Bud). Cheers!

where did the pattern come from. It's great!
I made the messenger bag
I made the messenger bag from the book, Knitting for Peace, which looks exactly like this, although there are no pockets under the flap.
It was felted and I use it regularly as a knitting project bag. It holds up well and has traveled all over the US recently!
