Mr Flurry problems

murfpapa's picture

Last year I knitted 2 snowmen. Not sure where I got the pattern from and can't find my printed copy. So I start looking all over for something similar. I did find a Mr Flurry pattern at www.freepatterns.com/list.html?cat_id=375 which I think might be the one I used but I cannot get the pattern to open properly. I have switched from Firefox to IE. I joined Freepattern website. I've redownloaded and updated Adobe. I've checked my security settings. I've followed the trail of others who have posted something about Mr Flurry but they all lead back to the freepattern website. I've tried to open with IE, Windows Viewer, jumped up and down and spun around waving a chicken and a handful of size 10 needles about my head and prayed to the GoogleGods and the darned thing just won't open for me. I keep getting an error message that Adobe cannot decrypt the file. Any ideas or does anyone have an non-encrypted file of it?

Thanks to GardenGuy42 for

Thanks to GardenGuy42 for the pattern. I'm a bit late posting the thank you because it arrived 2 minutes before I had to leave for work BUT just knowing it was here kept me whistling all day (which drives the other worker bonkers, but that's THEIR problem, lol). And for BuduR, we had leg quarters, drumsticks and thighs on sale for 69¢ but I couldn't shop til I got off work and by then the sale was off. Did get 20% off on some new needles and yarn for last minute gifts (I didn't see any digital ones though...I think we're safe for the time being, Albert). Andy, thanks for the compliment.
Well, I'm off to the yarn box to try out the new needles until I fall asleep.

I feel your pain- had to

I feel your pain- had to jump through hoops to post pictures here today and still can't get this site to update my blog photo. If anyone comes out with digital knitting needles I'm done.

Well that's your problem right there, you need to spin around and THEN jump up and down, you need just the feet of the chicken, not the whole chicken and the GoogleGods are on holiday this week.

If you dont' get the pattern gimme a shout, I can get it to you :)

I'm a Mac guy myself and I

I'm a Mac guy myself and I use Safari and Preview; I didn't have a problem opening the pattern at all. I'll send you a copy to murfpapabear@aol.com and you can see if Windows is able to open it. Good luck!
