i use size 8 double point and circular needles
the yarn i don't know remember the weight of it but i think it is just regular yarn........i have had that yarn in my yarn bag for about 3 to 4 years now.......it measure is 31 and half inches

I'm not really into doilies (although I've tatted a number of them my wife doesn't really allow doilies around our house) :-) and I've never (EVER) had the desire to knit one... until now! Wow... Looks great!
