I finally finish the swirl leaf doily

i use size 8 double point and circular needles
the yarn i don't know remember the weight of it but i think it is just regular yarn........i have had that yarn in my yarn bag for about 3 to 4 years now.......it measure is 31 and half inches

I have actually seen this thing in real life and it was pretty nice. I usually dont like all this girly craft shit. Seeing this made me want to start knitting thats why Jerome...aka Queen has agreed to teach me.

This is really stunning. I don't even know if doily (though correct), is a word worthy enough to describe something so spectacular as this. I looove the crazy amount of texture, I think if I were near this I wouldn't be able to stop touching it.

I've been looking for a

I've been looking for a "star" for the center of a shawl - I think I've found it....(I'll steal ideas wherever I can find them)

at 30+ inches a few more rounds of an edge would make this a nice lap throw;

I'm not really into doilies

I'm not really into doilies (although I've tatted a number of them my wife doesn't really allow doilies around our house) :-) and I've never (EVER) had the desire to knit one... until now! Wow... Looks great!
