Lint!

I washed the black hat that I knit a couple of weeks ago. I washed it all by itself. It came out of the machine covered in lint!

How in the world can I remove all this lint? DO I just trash it and start over?

I couldn't find one of those

I couldn't find one of those rollers today but did find a sweater shaver. It worked perfectly for removing all the lint.

Wonderful -- at least you got the problem resolved. If sometime you decide to still look for the lint roller you might look in the pet section of the store.

Maybe you had leftover stuff in the washer from another load? In the interim, try some packing tape if you have any.

Try one of those sticky,

Try one of those sticky, tape roller kind of lint brushes that has a plastic handle. They work well in most cases. When one sheet gets full of lint on the roller, tear it off and go at it with another rolled sheet. It's worth a try.

Thanks, I'll pick one up tomorrow. I tried the lint brush I use for my suits but it's the cloth type and doesn't work at all on the knit hat.
