hello

So I decided that I needed to start a knitting blog to keep track of the things i've knitted. There are enough now that it's starting to get hardto remember them all.
I have made:
-A gray crocheted scarf(one that I wear now, 12sts wide single cr into back loop only)
-A black 2X2 ribbed scarf (30sts wide), given as a gift
-A light and navy blue striped scarf (1X1 rib), given as a gift to my sister Katherine
-A dark red and black crocheted scarf (single cr into back loop only with slip stitch border in black), given as a gift to my sister Kim.
-Black socks (for me, 1x1 rib short leg, stockenette foot)
-Navy blue socks (1x1 rib short leg, stockenette foot), given to mother
-Dark red socks (1x1 rib short leg, stockenette foot with 3 cable braids on top of foot), given to austin
-Red hat (1x1 rib, triangle pattern) given to austin
-Dark green hat (2x2 rib, stockenette)

Pictures of them all will come soon, once I get a camera to use...

I would pick up spinning,

I would pick up spinning, but I'm too lazy. I just like knitting along in class, waiting for the bus, walking around campus, at home when I'm putting off homework...etc...

It's horrible how real life

It's horrible how real life can get in the way of knitting, isn't it?

Addiction? Nah. But lately

Addiction? Nah. But lately I have been finding myself after a stressful day at work (just about every day) thinking about coming home and knitting. hmmmmmm

Whatever MMario says...

Whatever MMario says... don't let him talk you into a 12 step program.. :-) An addiction to knitting is only a true addiction if it seriously gets in the way with "real" life. ;-)

Grace and Peace,

I thought about a 12 step

I thought about a 12 step program, but it was on the same night as my knitting group :/

Welcome! Looks like you are

Welcome! Looks like you are progressing nicely in your knitting addiction skills. Have you thought about spindles? Or maybe a wheel? Have you ever considered dyeing?

I sometimes think I would

I sometimes think I would like to try spinnning and dyeing. But it sort of scares me. I have a big enough stash now without making more. And If I am always spinning, when do I knit? lol. Its a dilemna. Actually I would try it if I knew how to go about starting and finding a teacher etc.
