only 13 more to go! Granted - I'm off celebrating Christmas in 1842 but it's still the holidays. Caroling on Friday, Saturday, Saturday night and today (sunday) .
Marvelous celebrating with Charles Dickens and his Patroness Lady Fanny Alabaster Smythe-Covington Applebottom (yes, she's been married - once or twice) and of course - President James K. Polk.
What? Polk wasn't president in 1842? Oh well - the TARDIS doesn't always go to the correct alternate world. More tomorrow - including actual knitting content.

Erk. Shame on you, giving me another reminder that Christmas is coming all too soon.
I do look forward to caroling, however. I'll take any excuse to sing, and sadly there are far too few opportunities in day to day life.

HAH! People don't realize it but flushies have been around since the late 1500's - they just weren't common. (Liz the First had one)
Got 'Spanish Armada' off the 24 inch circs and onto a 60 inch one - am almost done the first repeat of the 'Print o' the wave' border - will probably do four repeats of that - then switch to the English lace.
I didn't see any of it - but fellow cast memebers tell me I was very evident in TV coverage both Saturday and Sunday - I did a radio interview on Sunday - I don't know what parts of it if any will air. I don't get the channels that cover the event at home - so never get to see the stuff!
