patterns for super new

I was wondering if anyone might have any super simple patterns for the new knitter.

Just to give you an idea of skill level I have been knitting for about a month and have done nothing more complex then a simple hat (that was sewn together) and several half done scarves.

I am looking for some halfway decent but simple pattern to suck up some the malabrigo I keep buying. They really need to not make it so soft.

I started out with dish cloths. You can find some patterns on Lionbrand or google it.
Good luck & welcom to the site.

But. . . Don't feel you

But. . .

Don't feel you *have* to confine yourself to "simple" things.
THIS was my second project after learning to purl. modified to be a half circle shawl.
MMario - ambiguity is cultivated, it doesn't happen in a vacuum! Which I hold as an example that if *I* can do it, anyone can.

It took me 40 plus years to learn how to purl - so when I say it, I am sincere!

Take a look out at

Take a look out at knitty.com; I'd suggest some of their hats...maybe knit in the round?

Possibly Irish Hiking Scarf or the Palindrome Scarf?
That would get you into cables.
