on page 96-101 there's a pattern call Argyle Pullover Vest. I'm thinking about doing it in the round. if u have the book will u please look over it and read the pattern and let know what u think, if i can do it in the round or not.

Sorry to veer off topic, but
Sorry to veer off topic, but since you have this book; how do you like it? I was thinking about getting a copy. Are the patterns in the book of various skill levels? I'm very much the beginner BTW.
I was completely enamored
I was completely enamored with the book when I first got it. I fully intended to knit every project in it in order to learn everything it had to offer. After doing a couple of projects, though, my interest fell off and I moved on to other sources.
As for projects of different skill levels, the answer is yes. He doesn't have any projects on the order of "a garter stitch scarf," but if you're willing to go a bit above that you'll find projects that you can handle. A word of warning, though... some people have described the projects in the book as "a bit wonky." I like the fact that the author pushes the boundaries a bit, but at the same time I have to admit that some of projects aren't very practical.
I certainly recommend the book, but there are other male oriented knitting books that you may want to consider as well.

If you Google "intarsia in the round" you will find alot of interesting material on it. I have not tried it myself- only flat. But if you try it, let us know how it goes.

Visit Crafty Andy's Blog great challenge but Intarsia is a knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colours. As with the woodworking technique of the same name, fields of different colours and materials appear to be inlaid in one another, but are in fact all separate pieces, fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.
You can do that kind of in a circular pattern, but I believe it is a lot of work. lol! If you are like me,I have to try it at least three times to see if it can or cannot be done! Go for it without expectations!
I would be tempted to cast
I would be tempted to cast on for about 4 diamonds and try it. My next project is an argyle sweater and I intend to try and knit it in the round.
It is very difficult to do
It is very difficult to do intarsia in the round. I know there was a trick for it in one of my books, but it may have only been for small sections rather than for the large diamonds needed for argyle. I don't think you'll be able to do that pattern in the round.
