Inspired by a number of you guys - I made my first hat; something I've put off and put off for years.

This will join a scarf and be sent off to my japanese nephew-in-law

I checked the ball band - Rowan Kid Merino. Which is why it's sorta fuzzy.

I meant to check the ball band - yes, it's a "standard" yarn...I just don't remember what. Only took one ball, too - which is nice.

Good for YOU! I remember making my first hat, and being surprised at how easy and quick it was to make...the fact that the hat I made was a miniature hat, worn by my nephew's teddy bear is neither here nor there!

Heh, why did you put it off for so long? I like the color... very icy and winter-ish. Is it a specialty yarn, or something easily obtainable?
