i've read in some websites that knitting with circular needles avoids wrist problems, i find them more comfortable...

I enjoy knitting on the round it is a different experience, I think for socks, scarves and sweaters. The even distribution of the weight makes a difference on your wrists. It is definitely a lot harder to drop a stitch, and they come in such beautiful colors hahahaha!
Just curious...I have seen several people knit regular scarves on circular needles. Is this all a matter of personal preference, or is there some hidden benefit?
I like that pattern, and I like that color, even though I generally don't care for super-bright greens like that.
One benefit of using circular needles is the weight of the project is evenly distributed on the needle. When knitting large projects on straight needles, the needle holding most of the project (at any given time) gets heavy as the project gets larger and larger. Whereas, when knitting on the circular needle, the heaviness of the project just sits in your lap.
well - with a circ - you usually can't drop a needle at the end of a row, which is one benefit.
I feel the weight distribution is easier on the wrists as well.
MMario - ambiguity is cultivated, it doesn't happen in a vacuum!
Since I bought my Options I knit just about everything on them. It's pretty much just a personal preference thing. As I do most of my knitting out on the road it's far easier to fit the piece into my small backpack to carry into the truckstops and such when it's on circs as opposed to stiff straights.
